Sign Up Your Child
Is your child struggling with reading confidence? Our free sessions pair young readers with gentle therapy dogs who listen without judgment.
Eligibility
- ✓Children ages 5-12
- ✓Any reading level welcome
- ✓No diagnosis or referral required
- ✓Sessions are completely free
What to Expect
- 📖20-30 minute one-on-one reading time

Become a Volunteer Handler
Have a therapy-certified dog? Join our team of handlers making a difference in children's lives, one story at a time.
Requirements
- 1Dog must have Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification or equivalent
- 2Therapy dog certification from TDI, Pet Partners, or similar organization
- 3Ability to commit to at least 2 sessions per month
- 4Background check required for all handlers
- 5Attendance at Paws & Pages orientation training

Host Requirements
- •Quiet space for reading (separate room or corner)
- •Minimum 6 children per session
- •Staff member to assist with logistics
- •Commitment to at least 4 sessions
